S. J. Fazekas is the author of Gaius Trebonius
S.J. Fazekas is the author of Gaius Trebonius, a soon-to-be-published Roman historical fiction novel. His previous publications include several short fantasy stories that appeared in now-defunct webzines and three Honorable Mentions in the Writers of the Future contest.
He lives mostly in his head, but when in the present he finds himself in Maryland where he works as a civil servant in the Federal government. He’s written speeches for CEOs and Under Secretaries, seen combat as a Marine officer, visited 85 countries around the world, and studied at a 500-year old university in Germany. He is husband to a stellar financial advisor and marathoner who also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous. They share their home with three rescued cats and a startlingly intelligent Lab. Their two adult children live and work in Europe.
He still occasionally wonders if he was born 2,000 years too late, but when he remembers things like antibiotics, central air, and flush toilets he realizes this is a pretty good time to be alive.
